Pro friendly colour co-ordinated lids make the shades really easy to differentiate when working from your kit: The lid colours represent the 4 different shade families making it easier to select the correct foundation tone from your collection.

* because this a different formula, the colour comparison chart is a recommendation only, it shows what Make Up For Ever consider to be the closest match but please be aware it is not completely accurate and for this reason we would always advise that you select samples to test the shade prior to trying a new full size bottle because we cannot accept exchanges/returns on any used products.

CHOOSE YOUR PERFECT SHADE IN 3 SIMPLE STEPS! 

Step 1: Firstly, pick your shade family, this is the first prefixed number and relates to the skin harmony level in which you fit best: 1= Light, 2= Medium, 3= Tan, 4= Deep. Image #3 will help you with this.

Step 2: Choose your undertone (this is the second letter), refer to the description on image#5 for help determining this. R = Red, N = Neutral, Y = Yellow

Step 3: Choose which intensity, use the models face charts (images #6, 7 & 8) to guide you as you choose the one which closest resembles your complexion.

For example- shade 2N34 would suit a medium skin with neutral/no strong or definate red or yellow undertones.

The revolutionary Micro Skin system consists of a light and flexible microscopic mesh formula that syncs to your skin for optimum results. It learns your skins movements for long wear with no caking or patchiness.

Combines micro fine powders to provide a blurring and perfecting result.

Provides a buildable coverage that can range from medium to full depending on application and preference.

HD Skin Foundation is suitable for most skin types: oily, combination & normal.

If you are looking for a foundation more suited to a drier, mature skin then you can adapt the HD Skin by using extra nourishing skincare to prep such as Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentrate moisturiser (which also works as a good primer underneath makeup) and the Step 1 Hydra Booster Primer.

Alternatively the Make Up For Ever HD Skin Hydra Glow Foundation is particularly well suited to drier complexions.

We sell samples of this foundation for £1 each, simply select the shade from the drop down list & hit on "Add A Sample for £1". Samples contain 6 pumps of product-enough for a colour match/1 full face, they are intended to assist with shade matching and not to replace product, for this reason there's a limit of 1 of each colour.
