How To Care For Your Makeup Brushes: Effectively eliminate bacteria and remove makeup from your brushes by using an alcohol based professional brush cleaner. For a swift cleanse, simply spritz the cleaner onto the bristles and buff onto a dry tissue repeating until your brush is clean. For a more thorough clean, allow the brush to soak in a cleaning solution for 15 minutes, taking care to only submerge the fibres as Delilah brush handles are made from FSC certified, sustainable wood and will be damaged if fully submerged. Finish by rinsing with lukewarm water until it runs clear. Remember to hold the brush downwards to allow the water to flow through the fibres rather than into the handle. Avoid using harsh detergents or submerging the brush in water as this can cause damage. After cleaning lay the brush on a flat surface to dry preventing the water from dissolving the glue and preventing bristles from shedding.
