The metal discs don't need to be permanently attached to your smartphone device, just secure them to the inside of your phone case.
Although it is primarily designed to work with the TML light panels, it can be used and mounted onto most dry, sealed, smooth surfaces including smoothly varnished wood, painted metal, tiles, glass and acrylic making it super versatile.
The slimline apparatus means that once mounted, the device will be only 0.5inches from the light panel.
The mount base has a really durable, long lasting, washable adhesive, thin in appearance but strong enough to hold a smartphone/tablet.
For the perfect adhesion, ensure it is being applied onto a really clean, dry, smooth surface and there are no air bubbles once it's stuck to the surface.
The Magnet Mount base can get grubby from handling and general use, simply rub it down under running water (with or without soap) to clean it and this will also refresh the adhesive.
Eventually, through extended use, the adhesive will lose its initial strength and tackiness. For this reason the set includes a spare base sheet.
To protect the Magnet Mount base and keep it in optimum condition a spare sheet is included for each mount. These are easier to apply and remove than the original adhesive backing sheet on the Magnet Mount.
Keep your Magnet Mount away from direct heat, dust, dirt, and other debris, a sealable bubble envelope is also included in the set to help keep the components stored together and clean.
