PPI Skin Illustrator's On Set Palettes are a fantastic range of alcohol activated solid colour pigment systems in a choice of SFX or Skin tones.
Designed with the professional Make Up Artist in mind, the compact size makes them the ideal palette for kits, to get you started and for carrying on set.
PPI Skin Illustrator On Set Signature Palettes are a selection of the iconic solid pigment alcohol activated formula in smaller sized palettes each containing 11-12 colours in a compact sturdy case that is easy to transport and space saving in your kit.
Each palette contains a carefully selected combination of all the really popular Skin Illustrator colours,
This sweat and water proof formula can be painted on skin, hair and prosthetics to create a whole manner of ultra realistic special effects or to cover tattoos and imperfections.
It is activated using IPA (99.9% Isopropyl Alcohol) and can be applied directly from the palette using a fine effects brush .
NB: These palettes of solid colour can appear dry, cracked & shrunken and this is just the nature of the product- when the pigment evaporates and dries into a solid formula so that it can be put into the cells. This is purely aesthetic and does not affect its performance or quality in any way at all. Also, because the formula is highly concentrated and has to be decanted into the cells using alcohol and then evaporated, this causes some shrinkage and means that the cell can never be quite full/filled to the top/edges. There is no way to set/solidify them in perfect unison so that they can be transported in solid palettes. Once the IPA/alcohol is in contact with the pigment it reactivates it and they work perfectly well without affecting the quality or performance.
