  • Prosthetic Transfer Material developed by Christien Tinsley
  • Fully pre mixed, super convenient
  • Enhanced clarity, highly flexible, no shrinkage
  • Create your own customised, quality transfers

P.T.M.™ or Prosthetic Transfer Material enables the creation of Prosthetic Transfers by filling, freezing, and demolding. These transfers, applied with water and transfer paper, are more efficient than traditional latex or silicone prosthetics as they require no additional adhesives during application. This makes for a more efficient and seamless application process.

Ultra convenient, fully pre mixed, contains no added thickening agents, provides enhanced clarity and high flexibility with no shrinkage.

P.T.M. offers professional grade prosthetic transfers (bondo transfers, pro-bondo transfers, Pros-Aide transfers). The material has been developed by industry expert Christien Tinsley (the original creator of the innovative process) and guarantees the highest quality results and superior performance for your needs.

P.T.M. was developed to offer artists a convenient solution for creating their own prosthetic transfer appliances without the hassle of self mixing or buying overpriced pre made ones. Now, you can easily make and customise your own appliances at an affordable cost with less stress and more artistic control.

Shades:

Available in 4 tones:.

Which colour to choose? Pink 5 is the most popular colour for most individuals because of the great undertone it provides, allowing for easier and more realistic makeups. However, if you're more comfortable with having material that blends with little to no makeup, then you may want to opt for a tone that best fits the complexion of your models/actors.

Clear provides the option to reduce the opacity of the other flesh tones and provide the perfect blend between colour and transparency. Perfect to create a customised tone by  self tinting with pigments and flocking.

Pink 5 is the standard colour on almost every Prosthetic Transfer in the Special Effects Makeup industry. It provides a realistic and healthy looking under glow for any makeups being applied to your transfers and works great for almost every caucasian and dark skin tone.

Light Flesh is rapidly becoming an industry favourite for its more natural look compared to the ever popular Pink 5. Light Flesh blends naturally with most Caucasian skin tones straight out of the jar and is less likely to require paint over the top. Not too pink or too translucent it's the perfect alternative to Pink 5.

Dark Flesh is a pigmented brown with a reddish undertone which works well with almost all darker skin tones. The slightly reddish undertone provides a more natural looking paint while the brown tone allows for seamless blending.

2oz. Size.

The best way to change the colour or transparency is to use the other P.T.M.™ tones to create your ideal match. If you want to make it more transparent, you can add some clear P.T.M.™ to lower the tint of your material. Another option is to add additional flocking or pigments to it.

How Much PTM To Use:
Per Mold:
Knowing exactly how much P.T.M.™ you will need to fill your mold can be done in a few different ways. One way is to use the following formula (in inches):
Length x Width x 0.125 x 1.5 = X grams.

The 0.125 value represents ⅛ inch, the average depth of a Prosthetic Transfer mold, while the 1.5 value represents the weight of P.T.M.™ per cubic inch. Every mold is different, but we have found that the average between the deepest points and the taper to the cutting edge of a mold is about ⅛ inch. At the very least this will give you a good starting point or a little extra material.

Total Amount
Now that you know what your mold's needs are, we can figure out the total amount of P.T.M.™ you may need for your production. Use the following formula.

Total grams per transfer x Total amount of transfers needed = Total grams of P.T.M.™

Note:
• Every 1 pound of P.T.M.™ ≈ 453 grams
